Where it all began… In the mind of The Inventor, Maroun Ayoub.
Meet Maroun Ayoub, the inventor of the MoTow line of products. From a young age Maroun possessed a creative and curious mind; he had the gift of seeing how something should work as well as the ability create it.
It was the failure of a traditional hitch-mounted motorcycle rack that got him thinking about a design for the first MoTow. After transporting his bike for several hundred miles, the natural downward movement on the rack broke through 4 sets of heavy-duty tie downs and he almost lost his 350 pound bike. Maroun quickly saw the inefficiencies and designed a towing method that used the motorcycle’s rear wheel instead.
After a year of building and testing, the first prototype of a Ground-Loaded Rear Wheel Motorcycle Tow Hitch was born and soon patented. Maroun chose brushed stainless steel to build his motorcycle tow hitch, which provides marine quality durability and lasting beauty. The success of the innovative tow hitch directly led to the creation of a broader line of MoTow products, such as the Double and Single eBike Carrier, the Hitch Lift, and the Dirt bike/Scooter Carrier.
